The essence of the design is a new form of a butter dish, manifested in its shape, arrangement of lines, and surfaces. The ornamental design of the butter dish is shown in the drawing, in which Fig. 1 shows the butter dish in a perspective view from the longer side with the lid removed; Fig. 2 shows the same butter dish in a perspective view from the longer side with the lid removed; Fig. 3 shows the same butter dish in a view from the shorter side with the lid removed; Fig. 4 shows the same butter dish in a view from the longer side with the lid removed; and Fig. 5 shows the same butter dish in a top view with the lid removed. The butter dish with a lid has a basic part in the shape of a low oval vessel topped with a collar, which, when viewed from the longer side and the shorter side, has an outline similar to an inverted isosceles trapezoid, with rounded corners at the shorter base, and the collar has a two-stage irregularly shaped ledge with a lateral surface slightly wider than the basic part and has a flattened peripheral edge at the top corresponding in shape to the oval shape of the basic part of the butter dish, while the lower part of the ledge, when viewed from the shorter side, has the outline of a flattened parabola with ends curled at the sides, and when viewed from the longer side, has the outline of a wavy line resembling a flattened letter S in a horizontal position. The cover, on the other hand, has the form of a circumferential ring with a slightly oblique upper surface in the shape of an oval with a centrally located recess of a regular shape corresponding to the outline of its lateral surface, and terminated at the bottom by a protruding edge having the shape of a low isosceles trapezoid in a side view, while the upper part of the cover, seen from the shorter side, has a predominantly flattened parabola outline, roughly corresponding to the outline of the lower part of the collar step, seen from the longer side it has the outline of a strongly flattened arch, and seen from above it has the form of a classic oval resembling an elongated platter.
