The key is marked with the trademark PKUA6. Keys of this type are most often flat and are made of metal strip. They consist of a working part and a handle. The working part can be distinguished by an upper part – the ridge, on which the serrations are cut – and a lower part – the spine. The essence of the industrial design is the new form of key profiles, manifested in the shape and surface arrangement. The design is illustrated in the drawing, where Fig. 1 shows a side view of the key and Fig. 2 shows key profiles, constituting variations 1-10 of the design. The profile is the transverse outline of the working part of the key, shown in cross-section A-A. As shown in the drawing, the key profile has fixed grooves 1, 2, and 3 on its sides, defining the shelves, as well as a basic shelf 4 and a basic groove 5 located between the edge and the back of the key. The outline of the shelves is connected to the outline of the adjacent grooves. Variations 1-10 are created by changing the outline of basic shelf 4 and basic groove 5 by cutting variable grooves of varying size and location into them. The varieties differ in the number and outline of the cut shelves and grooves. The designation of the key profile elements is shown in variety 1, Fig. 2. Essential features of the industrial design.
