The essence of the industrial design is a new form of a universal corner sofa for sitting and/or lying, manifesting itself in the common features of shape, line layout, quality of cushions, and upholstery materials, giving the corner sofa a unique appearance. The universal corner sofa based on the industrial design is shown in an axonometric view in the drawing, where Fig. 1 shows the right-hand version of the corner sofa, and Fig. 2 shows the left-hand version. The universal corner sofa based on the industrial design has two interconnected, straight-lined base frames, each in the shape of a cuboid with a quadrilateral base close to a rectangle. The rectangular base structure rests on flat-shaped legs with a rectangular base and features armrests shaped like a rectangular cuboid. The connected base frames feature a higher rear wall, divided at the height of the base frame connection. The outer surfaces of the corner sofa base cuboids and the rear wall are upholstered with foam-filled upholstery. The seat cushions, covered with upholstery, are slidably mounted on the corner sofa frame. The back cushions, made in a rectangular shape without stitching, rest loosely against the rear walls of the corner sofa and the seat cushion. On one side of the base structure, an element is added to the front of the corner sofa, loosely attached to the base frame, on which rests a double-sided upholstered cushion in the shape of a rectangle with a recess for the corner sofa armrest. This cushion, when reversed, can be used on the opposite side as a left-hand corner sofa, whereby the attached frame element and seat cushion of the corner sofa should be moved to the opposite side of the corner sofa as shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. Important features of the universal corner sofa according to the industrial design are the cuboidal shape of the base frame and armrests, upholstered with a material upholstered on foam and having a permanently attached higher back wall, covered with the same upholstered material mounted on foam, which gives the structure a plump effect.
