Description
PLThe longest term of the patent until January 21, 1940, the patent Ni 1432 describes a method of producing explosives by the use of high-grade acetylene polymerization products with oxygen-containing bodies. It has turned out that the highly fine products of acetylene polymerization have a particularly high absorption capacity, which can be regulated within wide limits depending on the method of their preparation. This property makes the high molecular weight acetylene polymerization products very well suited for filling cartridges, which can, for example, be used for bursting with liquid air. The suction capacity can be regulated mechanically, e.g. by grinding. The load density can be controlled by the type of clogging. A further advantageous adjustment of the aspiration capacity and the charge density is made possible by the addition of solid, liquid or dissolved carbon-containing bodies. Thus, for example, the polymerization products of acetylene can be mixed with a suitable amount of wood dust, preferably after moistening the polymerization products with known wetting agents. Such mixtures are used, after drying, for the production of bursting cartridges with the aid of liquid air, but other suitable additives can be used as needed. It is also possible for the production of polymerization products by appropriate pressure regulation and thus directly to produce cohesive cores, which, for example, may be in the form of a tube of a suitable cross-section or some other suitable form. It goes without saying that the addition of the liquid air to the cartridges may only take place at the point of consumption. PL
