The essence of the industrial design is a new form of upholstered furniture side panels, manifested in a simple design that gives the sides of upholstered furniture a unique appearance. The side panel of an upholstered piece of furniture, designed according to the industrial design, is shown in the drawing below. Fig. 1 shows the cuboid side panel in an axonometric view, Fig. 2 shows a variant of the wide side panel of the upholstered piece, and Fig. 3 shows a variant of the side panel with a built-in shelf. The side panel of an upholstered piece of furniture, designed according to the industrial design, has a cuboid shape with a rectangular base and distinctly different side length proportions. It is entirely covered with upholstery material applied to a layer of foam glued to the sides of the rectangular frame of the upholstered piece. The side of an upholstered furniture piece, based on an industrial design, is attached to the body of the upholstered armchair or sofa using hooks. The color and texture of the upholstery material are consistent or complementary to the color scheme of the upholstered furniture. The upholstered furniture side has a cuboid shape with a rectangular base. Variation No. 2 of the upholstered furniture side has a cuboid shape /1/ with a rectangular base and a side length ratio of approximately three to one and is three-quarters covered with upholstery material applied to a layer of foam glued to the side surfaces of the rectangular box frame of the upholstered furniture side.
