The glass jug, according to the industrial design, has a cylindrical shape with a constant diameter along its entire length. The cylinder is closed by a bottom whose thickness is significantly greater than the vessel's walls. The upper part of the cylinder features a spout opening formed into a narrow spout, the upper edges of which are parallel and closely aligned along a certain distance, so that the jug's side surfaces converge in the spout-forming area and lie in different planes than the jug's cylindrical side surface. In the center of the jug's cylindrical side surface, a handle is located, which is attached at equal distances from both the jug's top edge and its bottom, so that its lower part is noticeably thicker than the upper one. Jugs come in many varieties. In industrial design variations, the jug's side walls can be smooth, porous, or decoratively cracked. A jug that is the subject of an industrial design can be made of clear or colored glass. The surface of the jug may be decorated with ornaments applied during its production process or with ornaments applied to the finished product, the object of the industrial design, by grinding, painting, gluing decorative elements and similar decorative techniques.
