The essence of the design is a new form of knitted fabric, manifested in the design, line layout, and weave of the background and pattern. The design is presented in the attached drawing. According to the design and as shown in the attached drawing, the knitted fabric is characterized by repeating patterns in the shape of fins, starfish, and clams in open shells, as well as strips with projections loosely coiled into a spiral. These patterns are arranged in grids in quadrangles, each pattern in a separate quadrangle. The weaves of the individual pattern elements, the grids within the quadrangles, and the knitted fabric surfaces outside the quadrangles are plasticized with varying shapes and weave thicknesses.
