This utility model relates to a process of producing jam using tiessa (Pouteria campechiana) as one of the ingredients. Preparation oftiessa (Pouteria campechiana) jam included the following steps: gathering ripe tiessa , washing it thoroughly with clean water, peeling, removing the seeds, slicing and mashing. Measuring the ingredients; mashed tiessa, water,sugar and lemon. Mixing the ingredients which are mashed tiessa and water. Boiling for about 20-30 minutes in low heat, adding the sugar and continuously stirring. Checking or testing if the mixture becomes thick and transparent. Adding the lemon juice into the mixture and cooking until done. Removing the tiessa jam from the heat, pouring into sterilized jar and storing in a cool place.
