Abstract
[Problem] To provide a mold release film for the production of a ceramic green sheet, which maintains high smoothness of the surface of a mold release layer, and which is free from the possibility of damaging a ceramic green sheet when the ceramic green sheet is removed from the mold release layer even in cases where the ceramic green sheet is an ultrathin layer material having a thickness of 1 æm or less by having the force applied to the ceramic green sheet during the removal from the mold release film low and uniform. [Solution] A mold release film for the production of a ceramic green sheet, which is obtained by providing a mold release layer on a surface layer A of a polyester film, said surface layer A substantially containing no inorganic particles, and which is configured such that the mold release layer is obtained by curing a composition that contains a binder a which contains cationically curable substance and one or more mold release agents b.
