Abstract

The purposes of the present invention are: to configure a cover member, and a vehicle body functional component which is covered by the cover member as a portion of the design of a vehicle, to improve design properties; and to cover the vehicle body functional component with the cover member. This cover structure for a saddle-type vehicle is provided with: an air cleaner 36 provided below a main frame 16; and a cover member 50 which covers the air cleaner 36. The air cleaner 36 is provided with: an air cleaner box body 60; and a lid member 61 which is fixed to the front surface of the air cleaner box body 60 by being clamped in the front-rear direction. The lid member 61 has, provided to left and right side parts, step parts which are recessed rearwards. The cover member 50 is provided as a pair of left and right members and is attached to the air cleaner 36 such that the air cleaner 36 is covered from the sides. The cover member 50 has, provided to the front end, an inward extending part 85 which extends inwards in the vehicle width direction. The inward extending part 85 is fitted into the step parts of the lid member 61. The lid member and the front surface of the inward extending part 85 are flush with each other.
