Abstract

The invention relates to a device for the cleaning of bulk goods, in particular rice or wheat grains. The device has a conveyor surface (10) preferably inclined in relation to the horizontal, wherein the bulk goods are moved in the direction of a downstream end (102) of the conveyor surface (10). A rake roller (20) is arranged at the downstream end (102) of the conveyor surface (10), having multiple tines (21) protruding from the rake roller (20). The tines (21) are guided through the bulk goods by rotating the rake roller (20) in order to remove coarse impurities. The invention also relates to a method for cleaning bulk goods.
