Abstract

The structural steel material with excellent weather resistance contains, in mass pcnt , C: at least 0.01 pcnt and less than 0.20 pcnt , Si: 0.05 pcnt to 1.00 pcnt , Mn: 0.20 pcnt to 2.00 pcnt , P: 0.001 pcnt to 0.050 pcnt , S: 0.0001 pcnt to 0.0200 pcnt , Al: 0.005 pcnt to 0.050 pcnt , Cu: 0.010 pcnt to 0.500 pcnt , Nb: 0.005 pcnt to 0.100 pcnt , and Sn: 0.005 pcnt to 0.300 pcnt . The amount of solid solution Nb is 0.002 pcnt to 0.080 pcnt and the balance is obtained from iron and unavoidable impurities.
