Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un proceso para concentrar particulas deseadas que comprende una separacion de portador magnetico que comprende las siguientes etapas a) proporcionar una materia prima que contiene las particulas deseadas y un material no deseado; b) anadir particulas magneticas hidrofobicas a la materia prima, lo que produce una materia prima cargada que contiene aglomerados de las particulas magneticas y las particulas deseadas o de las particulas magneticas y el material no deseado; c) separar los aglomerados de la materia prima cargada por un metodo de separacion que produce aglomerados aislados, donde el metodo de separacion se selecciona de seleccion, separacion electrica, separacion magnetica, cribado, clasificacion, concentracion por gravedad y flotacion; d) romper los aglomerados aislados para obtener una suspension que comprende las particulas magneticas en forma desaglomerada; y e) separar las particulas magneticas de la suspension obtenida en la etapa d) por un metodo de separacion seleccionado de seleccion, separacion electrica, separacion magnetica, cribado, clasificacion, concentracion por gravedad y flotacion.
