Abstract
Un metodo para controlar, tratar o prevenir una infeccion patogena en una planta, que comprende poner en contacto dicha planta con una cantidad eficaz de fenilalanina o un analogo de esta a una concentracion de al menos 2 mM, con lo que se controla una infeccion patogena en una planta, tal como una infeccion viral, una infeccion bacteriana, una infeccion por polillas, una infeccion por aracnido o cualquier combinacion de estas. La planta puede estar en una etapa posterior a la cosecha y/o previa a la cosecha.
