Abstract
La invencion se refiere a un dispositivo y un proceso para fabricar una lamina de vidrio individual curvada que comprende una franja de compresion periferica, que comprende el calentamiento de la misma hasta su temperatura de curvado en un horno, el curvado individual de la misma y el enfriamiento general de la misma, caracterizada porque una zona de la lamina al menos parcialmente dentro de dicha franja de compresion periferica, denominada zona enfriada localmente, se somete, despues del calentamiento de la lamina, a un enfriamiento local mas rapido que el enfriamiento general, cuando la lamina esta a una temperatura de al menos 530°C. El corte de la lamina en la zona enfriada localmente crea bordes que tienen tensiones de compresion en los bordes.
