Abstract
Se refiere a un metodo puede usarse para convertir materiales de sulfuro de cobre que contienen niquel. Un metodo para convertir de manera continua materiales de sulfuro de cobre que contienen niquel en cobre blister, escoria residual y una aleacion de cobre y niquel incluye fundir los materiales junto con Si02 y flujos que contienen CaO y carbon en un horno de conversion Vanyukov para producir cobre blister, gases con una alta concentracion de S02 y escoria con una relacion de concentracion de Si02 / CaO de 3:1 a 1:1, en la que la suma de las concentraciones de hierro, niquel y cobalto no es superior al 30% en peso, con un consumo especifico de oxigeno en el rango de 150-240 nm3 por tonelada de material de sulfuro seco para la conversion, y agotar la escoria en una unidad separada, es decir, un horno de reduccion Vanyukov, utilizando una mezcla de un gas que contiene oxigeno y un combustible de hidrocarburo con un coeficiente de consumo de oxigeno (alfa) en un rango de 0.5 a 0.9, junto con carbon, para producir escoria residual y una aleacion de cobre y niquel. El resultado tecnico es la produccion de cobre blister, escoria residual y una aleacion de cobre y niquel utilizando un metodo continuo, mientras se separan los procesos de conversion y reduccion en unidades separadas, es decir, dos hornos Vanyukov de una sola zona.
