Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un metodo para mejorar el rendimiento de la filtracion al separar solidos de liquidos en una dispersion acuosa que comprende una fase solida y una fase liquida en un proceso de dos etapas que tiene una etapa de separacion fisica y una etapa de filtracion que comprende la adicion de al menos un activador coadyuvante de filtracion y al menos un polimero sintetico a la dispersion acuosa durante y/o antes de la etapa de separacion fisica que resulta en el concentrado y la filtracion del concentrado. El metodo puede ser aplicado en operaciones de mineria para la deshidratacion de lodos mineros. Ademas, una composicion aplicada en dicho metodo que comprende al menos un activador coadyuvante de filtracion y al menos un polimero sintetico. El activador coadyuvante de filtracion comprende polimeros naturales, polimeros seminaturales, coagulantes y combinaciones de ellos
