Abstract

SE REFIERE A UN METODO QUE, SIN DISMINUIR LA FOTOSINTESIS, PREVIENE AL MENOS LA QUEMADURA SOLAR DE UNA PLANTA, EL DURAMEN HUMEDO, EL TAPONAMIENTO Y EL MOTEADO. DICHO METODO CONSISTE EN APLICAR A UNA PORCION DE LA SUPERFICIE DE LA PLANTA UNA CANTIDAD EFECTIVA DE UN MATERIAL PARTICULADO FINAMENTE DIVIDIDO, CON UNA DISTRIBUCION DE TAMANO DE PARTICULA DONDE HASTA EL 90% DE LAS PARTICULAS TIENE UN TAMANO MENOR A 10 µm, TRATADO CON CALOR DESDE 300 °C A 1200 °C DE TEMPERATURA Y EL CUAL AL APLICARSE PERMITE EL INTERCAMBIO DE GASES EN LA SUPERFICIE DE LA PLANTA. ASIMISMO, DICHO MATERIAL TIENE UN NUCLEO HIDROFILICO Y UNA SUPERFICIE EXTERNA HIDROFOBICA Y PUEDE COMPRENDER UNO O MAS DE LOS SIGUIENTES COMPUESTOS: CARBONATO DE CALCIO, MICA, CAOLIN HIDRATADO, BENTONITA, ARCILLAS, PIROFILITAS, SILICA, FELDESPATO, ARENA, CUARZO, TIZA, PIEDRA CALIZA, TIERRA DE DIATOMEAS, BARITA, TRIHIDRATO DE ALUMINIO Y DIOXIDO DE TITANIO
