Abstract

The device described comprises four corner elements (1) defining a mould on which an appropriately stamped cardboard sheet is placed so that by pushing, by means of a top male part (3) assembled so that it may move upward and downward, the forming and assembling of a box can be achieved. The corner elements (1) have means that permit longitudinal movement thereof and transversal movement of a part (1') of the corner elements themselves (1) in order to increase or decrease the amplitude of the mould and to permit the forming of different sized boxes. The male part (3), as a pushing element in the forming of the box, has some tiltable and side flaps (22) that enable not only different sized boxes to be achieved but also ones with top bridges in the front ends, the male part (3) having a bridge (17) through which the fastening is carried out on a general support of the machine to which the device is applied.
