Abstract

En fiskepopulasjons-telleinnret- ning for telling av antallet av fisk som passerer gjennom en fiskepassasje ifølge retninger og fiskestørrelser. Bildedata som frembringes ved hjelp av et to-linjekamera (1) som tar bilder samtidig på to bildetakingslinjer (A, B), sendes gjennom en A/D-omformer (2) og lagres med en linje ad gangen i bildelagre (3A, 3B) . Bildedataene over- føres deretter til en behandlingsenhet (6) hvor de omordnes i bildetakings- rekkefølgen for hver bildetakingslinje (A, B) , for å frembringe to-linje- suksessive bilder (A, B) . Ut fra disse to-linje-suksessive bilder (A, B) spores konturene av de områder hvis merkelappnumre er de samme, for å atskille massive figurer som er spredt i bildene. Særtrekkene til de massive figurer uttrekkes og sammenliknes med et standardmønster for å bestemme om de massive figurer er fisk eller ikke. Deretter identifiseres posisjonene og formene for all fisk som er spredt i de to-linje-suksessive bilder (A, B) , en for en for å telle antallet av fisk som har passert gjennom bildetakingslinjene (A, B) i løpet av en forutbestemt tidslengde. videre antas individuell fisk som befinner seg i forskyvbare posisjoner, å være den samme fisk, og basert på forskyvningene av denne fisk, beregnes retningene og hastighetene av de individuelle fisker. Ut fra fiske- hastighetene bestemmes størrelsen av hver fisk. Antallet av fisk telles ut fra størrelsen og retningen.
