Abstract

En reaktor (10) med horisontal, bevegelig seng (50) til varme- behandling av partikkelmateriale omfatter et hus (12) som har en tilførselsåpning (18) for å slippe inn partikkelmateriale som skal varmebehandles, og et utløp (20) til tømming av det varmebehandlede materiale, i det minste ett brett (48a,48b) som er anbrakt horisontalt inne i huset mellom tilførselsåpningen og utløpet, og som har en bæreflate som skal bære en seng (50) av partikkelmaterialet, et oppvarmingssystem (52) til oppvar- ming av sengen av partikkelmateriale på bæreflaten, og et transportsystem (54) for å bevege sengen av partikkelmateriale, mens denne varmes opp, langs en forhåndsbestemt retning på bæ- reflaten.
