Abstract
Katalysatorsammensetning egnet for bruk i polymerisasjonen av olefiner omfattende et definert metallkompleks med chelaterende ligander omfattende minst ett atom fra O, S, N og P bundet direkte til metallet. Kompleksene anvendes i nærvær av Lewis-syrer og kan eksemplifiseres ved bis(cyklopentadienyl)zirkoniumkomplekser. Typiske chelaterende ligander inkluderer acetylacetonat og kompleksene har de spesielle fordeler ved at de ikke krever tradisjonelle aktivatorer slik som MAO.
