Abstract

Oppfinnelsen angår en biosensor med en immobili- sert biokomponent til spesifikk binding av et biomolekyl (analytt), som foreligger i en vandig matriks. Den er kjennetegnet ved et sjikt av en organisk hydrogel som passiveringssjikt mot uspesifikke bindinger. Oppfinnelsen angår videre anvendelsen av organiske hydrogeler som passive- ringssjikt ved fremstilling av biosensorer samt anvendelsen av biosensor til bestemmelse av et biomolekyl (eller analytt) i en vandig matriks, som blir bundet spesifikt til biokomponenten av sensoren.
