Abstract

A mine clearing system (10) comprises a mine clearing vehicle (12) with a front attachment at its front side provided with a milling roller (26). The front attachment can swivel around a horizontal axis (40). A rear attachment which forms a mine detector can be provided on the mine clearing vehicle (12), or a mine detection vehicle (14) with such a rear attachment can follow the mine clearing vehicle (12). The rear attachment or mine detection vehicle (14) has a second milling roller (44) which can swivel around a horizontal axis to adjust as desired the height or depth of penetration of the second milling roller into the soil. A transporting and screening device (58) is arranged after the second milling roller (44).
