Abstract

Direkte brensel metanolbrenselcelle (DMFC). Oppfinnelsen vedrører en DMFC, ved hvilken det foran cellen er koblet en fordamper. Brenselet som stort sett er en metanol/vannblanding med eventuel tilsetting av en inert gass er variabel i sammen- setningen hvorved metanol/vann og eventuelt inertgassblandingen kan innstilles avhengig av belastningen. Ytterligere vedrører oppfinnelsen en fremgangsmåte for drift av et direkte metanol- brenselcelle-anlegg, ved hvilken brenselet foreligger i gassform i anoderommet.
