Abstract

Kom av aluminium-strontium anriket forlegering for anvendelse hovedsakelig ved modifisering av den eutektiske fasen i aluminium-silisiumstøpelegeringer er beskrevet. Forlegeringskomene er hovedsakelig intermetalliske forbindelser AlSr, AlSr og AlSr og blandinger derav. Ved å anvende slike intermetalliske dominerende legeringer i en granulert tilstand oppnås rask oppløsning i aluminium-silisumlegeringssmelter. Forlegeringssammensetningen kan tilsettes direkte til et innhold av smeiten eller injiseres inn i den. Forlegeringssammensetningen kan også blandes med aluminiumkorn og ekstruders til en stav eller innesluttes i et finemne av støpt aluminium. Forlegeringen er også nyttig som et inokuleringsmiddel for grått støpejern.
