Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for pumping av et fluid, f.eks. en oljeeffluent fra en kilde (14) inntil en brann (10), mot et utløp (24), hvor brønnen omfatter et kammer (32) som strekker seg ho- vedsakelig i hele brønnens lengde, og en rørsøyle (18) som passerer gjennom kammeret og står i forbin- delse med dette ved sin ene ende, og som ved et mid- lere punkt langs sin lengde står i forbindelse med kilden (14). Oppfinnelsen er karakterisert ved at den omfatter følgende trinn: å fylle opp til en for- utbestemt høyde den nedre ende av kammeret og av rørsøylen med en første væske som har en høyere den- sitet enn effluenten, å fylle kammeret mellom den forutbestemte høyde og utløpet med en andre væske som har en densitet som er lavere enn den første væske, og å injisere en ytterligere mengde av den andre væske inn i kammeret for å fortrenge den før- ste væske og effluenten for å bringe effluenten opp mot utløpet. Oppfinnelsen vedrører også en pumpein- stallasjon.
