Abstract

Antennetrinn for sending og mottaking av polariserte mikrobølger og omfattende et grenledd (24) for å skille mellom de bølger eller signaler som mottas i et mottakerfrekvensbånd og de som sendes ut i et senderfrekvensbånd. Grenleddet (24) er koplet til antennetrinnets antenneelementer slik at polarisasjonen opprettholdes både ved sending og mottaking. Grenleddet (24) omfatter en første bølgeleder (26) med kvadratisk tverrsnitt og hvis ene ende er koplet til antenneele- mentene, mens den andre ende er koplet til en senderkanal (32, 36, 42) som overfører de signaler som skal sendes ut via bølge- lederens (26) sidevegger (52, 54, 56, 58). Antennetrinnet er beregnet for sen- ding og mottaking i et utvidet C-bånd, det vil si sending i frekvensbåndet 5,85-6,65 GHz og mottaking i frekvensbåndet 3,4-4,2 GHz.
