Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en ny type materiale som gir en lav friksjonskoeffisient, en foretrukken anvendelse av hvilket materiale er frem- stilling av ski og liknende glidende gjenstander, såvel som en fremgangsmåte for å produsere det nevnte materiale. Ifølge oppfinnelsen består material- et av en blanding av polyten, fortrinns- vis polyten av høy molekylarvekt, og fluorografitt. Hvis fluorografitt er tilsatt poly- ten med prosenter som varierer fra 3 % til 50 % etter vekt, fortrinnsvis i området fra 10 % til 30 % etter vekt, oppnår man avtakende verdier av frik- sjonskoeffisienten p når prosenten av fluorografittinnholdet økes, på grunn av hvilket materiale, som også har de nød- vendige karakteristikker for mekanisk motstand, er ideelt egnet for fremstil- ling av ski.
