Abstract
I et akkumulatorbatteri måles spenninger over samtlige enkeltceller. Spenningen mellom positiv pol på en celle og negativ pol på neste celle i seriekoblingen måles også. Disse spenningsmålingene gjøres ved forskjellige strømmer gjennom batteriet. Basert på disse målinger er det mulig å beregne de forskjellige ekvivalent-motstandenne i systemet :Hver enkelt celles ekvivalente indre motstand, samt motstanden i koblingene mellom hver celle i batteriet.Ved hjelp av disse verdier er det mulig å beregne restkapasiteten i hver celle.
