Abstract
Den foreliggende oppfinnelse angår en mikrobiologisk test- fremgangsmåte for påvisning av antibakterielle forbindelser i væskeprøver så som melk, kjettsaft, serum og urin. Fremgangs- måten anvender en syre-base- eller redoks-indikator for påvisning av vekst av en testorganisme, og er karakterisert ved at en termofil stamme av Bacillus eller Streptococcus, f.eks. Bacillus stearothermophilus var. calidolactis C953, anvendes i en konsentrasjon på over 107 CFU/ml, fortrinnsvis mellom 2 x 107 og 3 x 108 CFU pr. ml.
