Abstract

Ifølge den foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringes et organoaluminoksy-produkt fremstilt ved frem- gangsmåten som innbefatter det å reagere et organoaluminoksan med en en-ol-forbindelse. I en annen utforelsesform kan organoaluminoksanet bli fremstilt in situ ved fremgangsmåten som innbe- fatter det å reagere en hydrokarbylalumino-forbin- delse, vann og en-ol-forbindelsen. Videre tilveie- bringes olefin polymerisasjons-katalysatorsystemer som innbefatter organoaluminoksy-produktet og minst en overgangsmetall-inneholdende katalysator. Eventuelt forpolymeriseres katalysatorsystemet ved tilstedeværelsen av minst ett olefin for å danne et forpolymerisert katalysatorsystem. Det tilveie- bringes ytterligere fremgangsmåter for polymerisa- sjonen av olefiner ved anvendelse av katalysator- systemene.
