Abstract

Fremgangsmåten omfatter følgende trinn: Først blir dempningsfunksjonen til minst tre referanse- materialer bestemt over et bredt røntgenstråle- . spektrum, og projeksjonsfunksjoner (F , F _, F , F .) som utgjør en base blir utledet fra disse, så blir dempningsfunksjonen i røntgenstråle-spekteret til minst ett målmateriale bestemt, og dempnings- funksjonen til hvert målmateriale blir projisert på basen; deretter blir for hvert punkt på gjenstanden (1), dempningsfunksjonen til gjenstanden (1) bestemt i røntgenstråle-spekteret og projisert på basen, og de således oppnådde projeksjoner blir sammenlignet , med projeksjonene fra hvert målmateriale, og ut fra denne sammenligningen blir det sluttet om minst ett målmateriale inngår i sammensetningen av gjenstanden (1) ved det undersøkte punkt. Anvendelse: bagasje-undersøkelse og -kontroll.
