Abstract

Fremgangsmåte for å stabilisere en langstrakt kjerne-prøve (14) som er holdt i en langstrakt beholder (12). Fremgangsmåten omfatter de trinn å plassere et strøm-bart fast stabiliserende materiale (22) i tomrommene (24) mellom det ytre av kjerneprøven (14) og den inn-vendige veggen til beholderen (12). Den pakkede kjerneprøven (14) som slik oppnås er spesielt godt egnet for analysering ved bruk av computertomografi-teknikker og andre ikke-destruktive kjerneanalyse-teknikker.
