Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for anrikning av titanholdige malmer er redegjort for, hvor en titan- og jernholdig malm, så som ilmenitt, oppvarmes med kalium- hydroksid, f.eks. ved temperaturer på ca. 350-65CPC, og produktet blir deret- ter behandlet med karbonmonoksid og vann. Etter avkjøling og vasking kan det faste produkt separeres ad mag- netisk vei i en jernholdig magnetisk fraksjon og en titanholdig fraksjon.
