Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse tilveiebringer et kompositt-fibertau egnet for bruk som et forspen- ningselement i forspente betongkonstruksjoner. Foreliggende oppfinnelse oppviser, ifølge ett as- pekt, et slikt kompositt-fibertau som har ypper- lig mekanisk styrke, fremstilt ved oppvarming av de herdeharpiks-impregnerte fiberkjerner, hvorved harpiksen delvis herder, deretter omvikling av en primær omvikling og en sekundær fiberbunt .. rundt omkretsen av hver fiberkjerne, sammentvinning av et antall av de resulterende fiberkjerner til en tauform, og deretter oppvarming av det tvunnete tau for fullføring av herdingen. Ifølge et annet aspekt, tilveiebringer oppfinnelsen et kompositt- fibertau, hvor enten den primære eller sekundære omviklings-fiberbunt er viklet med omviklings- klaring for å danne en ujevn omkretsflate for å forbedre adhesjon til en forankringsinnretning, som kreves for et forspenningselement.
