2,2-di(C1_5alkyl) - og trans-2, 2-di (C^alkyl) -3 , 4-dihydro-3- hydroksy- -6-(pyridin-4-yl)-2H-l-benzopyraner, f. eks. av formel R_ ¿ ¿ - R, T3 Rr hvori Rj og R2 = H, alkyl, hydroksyalkyl eller alkoksyalkyl, idet minst en av disse er forskjellig fra H, R3 = typisk en 2-piperidinongruppe, = H og R5 = -OH eller + Rs = en ytterligere binding, og R6, R7 er alkyl og R8 er H eller alkyl, og N-oksyder, estere og salter derav, fremgangsmåter for deres fremstilling og deres anvendelser som farmasøytika, f. eks. som K*-kanalapnere, ronkodilatatorer og prof ilaktiske astma- midler.
