Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av et ¿Y-alumlnium- oksynltrld-pulver omfatter å omsette alumlnivmnitrid med a-aluminlumoksyd og med et aluminiumoksyd med høyt spesifikt overflateareal eller en forløper som danner et aluminiumoksyd med høyt spesifikt overflateareal. Mere spesielt består fremgangsmåten i å blande aluminiumnitrid, a-alumlniumoksyd og aluminiumoksyd med høyt spesifikt overflateareal eller dettes forløper, tørking av blandingen, oppvarming av blandingen til en temperatur tilstrekkelig til å oppnå et ¿Y-alumlnium- oksynitridpulver og derefter å male opp det oppnådde pulver. Det agglomererte ¿Y-aluminiumoksynitrid-pulver karak- teriseres ved at porøsiteten for agglomeratet er over 75 f>. Det oppmålte ¿Y-alumlniumoksynitrldpulver karakteriseres ved at 100 * av partiklene har en størrelse under 10 pm og at det oppviser en transmittans på minst 8 * målt ved 2500 cm-1 på en KBr-skive med tykkelse 0,9 inneholdende 3,33 * -f-aluminlumoksynitrld.
