Abstract

Fra faste rester, spesielt fra slagg, som ansamles i et søppelforbrenningsanlegg, blir det separat utskilt glass og metall ved smelting. Smeltingen utføres i to soner. . I den første, øvre smeltesone blir oksidbestanddeler av restene overført til en glassmeltemasse. I den annen, nedre smeltesone blir de metalliske bestandde-ler av restene overført til en metallsmeltemasse ved forhøyet temperatur. De to smeltemasser blir utvunnet separat.
