Abstract

Saks som er i stand til å klippe stabler med tynne strimler av amorft stål over et større antall klippeoperasjoner uten at saksens saksblader (12, 14) blir degradert. Hvert blad har en langsgående sideflate (30, 36) og en anleggsflate (32, 36) i tilnærmet rett vinkel på sideflaten. Anleggsflåten danner ikke nødvendigvis eksakt rett ¿vinkel med bladets sideflate, men en stump vinkel, slik at det fremkommer en negativ skjærvinkel (a) mellom flaten og et referanseplan (50, 52) som på sin side står normalt på saksens skjærplan (42). For å oppnå best mulig levetid på bladene (12, 14) velges summen av 3eres skjærvinkler (a) til å ligge mellom 5 og 35" (negativ), og et spesielt sintret hardmateriale velges for bladene, nemlig wolframkarbid med par~ikler i submikron storrelse, iblandet koboltpartikler hvis vektinnhold utgjør ca. 16 %.
