Abstract

Det beskrives en ny mikrobiologisk fremgangsmåte til fremstilling av hydroksy-heterocyklisk karboksylsyre med formelen med utgangspunkt i den tilsvarende heterocykliske karboksyl- syre. Denne fremgangsmåte utføres på den måte at man a) dyrker nikotinsyreutnyttende aerob biomasse i et molart for- hold av nikotinsyre til mineralsyre på l til 8, hvorved dette forhold opprettholdes gjennom hele dyrkingsfasen, og deretter b) med denne biomasse gjennomfarer hydroksyleringen av den tilsvarende heterocykliske karboksylsyre med den generelle formel COOH II hvori R! og X har den nevnte betydning. Under disse betingelser kan det i dyrkingsfasen anrikes mikroorganismer av arten Pseudomonas acidovorans DSM 7205, av arten Pseudomonas acidovorans DSM 7203, av arten Alcaliaenes faecalis DSM 7204 og mikroorganismer med betegnelsen DSM 7202.
