Abstract

En sofa eller lenestol med justerbar sittedybde (7-8), som har et rygglene (1) , som kan lesgjeres og fjernes og hvis avstanden kan endres, slik at sittedybden kan endres og til hvilken tilhører en justerings- og låseinnretning (2), med hvilken en trinnles eller en trimmet justering låses. Eksempelvis er en sofarygg tradisjonelt fiksert og nesten alle justeringsmuligheter har vært forskjellige lesninger ved hjelp av puter, som imidlertid ikke alltid er tilfredsstillende når man tar i betraktning forskjellige folks behov. Med denne lesning kan folk av forskjellig lengde justere en sofas eller lenestols sittedybde slik at den passer til dem selv, noe som samtidig gjør sittestillingen mer konfortabel og dessuten reduserer sannsynligheten for ryggproblemer. Den justerbare ryggstøtte gir samtidig nye dimensjoner og muligheter for utforming av møbler og for produktutvikling.
