Et belagt vitamin C-preparat for dyrefor, omfattende en partikkelformig kjerneforbindelse som har et innhold av vitamin C og et beleggsmaterlale bestående av en eller flere finpulvrede lipider som har et smeltepunkt på minst 40'C og et innhold av vitamin E, idet nevnte beleggsmateriale er tilstede som et agglomerert beleggslag som omgir hele omkretsen av hver partikkel til nevnte partikkelformige kjerneforbindelse. Det belagte vitamin C-preparatet blir fremstilt ved en fremgangsmåte som omfatter at man bringer partiklene av en partikkelformig kjerneforbindelse som har et innhold av vitamin C i kolliderende kontakt med partikler av et beleggsmaterlale bestående av en eller flere finpulvre- de llplder som har et smeltepunkt på minst 40'C og et Innhold av vitamin E, for å danne et beleggslag av agglomererte partikler av beleggsmaterialet som omgir hele omkretsen av hver partikkel av kjerneforblndelsen. Det belagte vitamin C-preparatet er nyttig som et supplement til fQr for dyr, så som husdyr, fjærkre og marine dyr, ved sammenblanding til for. Det belagte vitamin C-preparatet er bedre enn konven- sjonelt belagte preparater når det gjelder beleggs- evne, vitamin C-isoleringseffekt overfor ytre påvirk- ninger så som lys, varme, fuktighet og atmosfære, for å oppnå bedre konservering av vitamin C-aktivlteten selv ved sammenblanding til f6rblandinger, og organismenes absorberbarhet av vitamin C er høy.
