Abstract

Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av ; hydrokarboner ved katalytisk omsetning av karbonmonoksyd med hydrogen, omfattende trinn for: a) valg av en katalysator omfattende: i) 3-80 vektdeler kobolt pr. 100 vektdeler porøs bærer; ii) 0,1-100 vektdeler av i det minste ett metall valgt fra zirkonium, titan og krom pr. 100 vektdeler porøs bærer; og iii) et ytre overflateareal (Se) Se i 70 cm2/ml; b) aktivering av katalysatoren; og c) å kontakte den aktiverte katalysatoren i fastsjiktform med en blanding av karbonmonoksyd og hydrogen som har et hydrogen/karbonmonoksydfødeforhold (F): F i 1,9 under slike betingelser at Se/F i 12,5, og hydrokarboner fremstilt derved.
