Abstract

2. The outer wall or roof glazing which is formed by insulating glass panes (1), is held by a supporting structure which is anchored on the building. 2.1 The object of the invention is to design an attachment for the insulating glass panes in such a way that the outer panes are fixed and secured in the façade or roof joints in a positive-locking manner, so that bonding and/or sealing work at the site are dispensed with. 2.2 To achieve this object, the outer pane of each insulating glass unit (1) is provided over its periphery with a step (9) which begins from the respective lateral edge face. The mutually facing step faces of adjacent insulating glass panes (1) which bound a façade or roof joint are aligned with one another.
