Abstract

1. A process for the production of half-bleached cellulose pulps by applying excess oxygen pressure, hydrogen peroxide and sodium silicate in an aqueous alkaline suspension, characterised in that for bleaching and partial delignification, oxygen, hydrogen peroxide and sodium silicate are simultaneously allowed to act on the cellulose pulp.
