Abstract
Fremgangsmåte for fremstilling av karbondisulfid ved omsetning av karbonmonoksid med elementært svovel, for å danne karbonylsulfid og for disproporsjonering av det dannede karbonylsulfid til karbondisulfid og karbondioksid. Fremgangsmåten omfatter å bringe en gassformig strøm omfattende karbonmonoksid i kontakt med en væskeformig fase av elementært svovel inneholdende en fast katalysator ved en temperatur i området fra 250 °C til 700 °C for å oppnå en gassfase omfattende karbonylsulfid, karbondisulfid og karbondioksid. Oppfinnelsen omfatter videre anvendelse av en væskestrøm omfattende karbondisulfid, karbonylsulfid og karbondioksid som fås ved en slik fremgangsmåte, for stimulert oljeutvinning.
