Abstract

Det beskrives en polykondenseringskatalysator for fremstilling av polyester ved en forestringsreaksjon eller en transforestringsreaksjon mellom en dikarboksylsyre eller et esterdannende derivat derav og en glykol, der polykondenseringskatalysatoren omfatter partikler av en fast basis som på overflaten har enten et beleggssjikt av titansyre i en mengde fra 0, I til 50 vektdeler uttrykt som Ti02 pr. I 00 vektdeler fast basis, eller et indre beleggssjikt av et oksid av minst et element valgt blant silisium, aluminium og zirkonium eller et komposittoksid av minst to elementer valgt blant silisiurn, aluminium og zirkonium, i en mengde fra I til 20 vektdeler pr. I 00 vektdeler av den faste basis, og et ytre beleggssjikt av titansyre i en mengde fra 0,1 til 50 vektdeler, uttrykt som Ti02, pr. I 00 vektdeler av den faste basis.
