Anordning for produksjon av energi fra strømmer i en vannmasse, omfattende et i vannmassen flytende anlegg (10) med minst én generator (7) for energiproduksjon, og minst ett langstrakt første forankringselement (24) som ved en første ende er tilnyttet en ende av anlegget (10). Det første forankringselementet (24) ved sin andre ende er tilknyttet ett i vannmassen flytende oppdriftselement (50) forankret til en bunn (13) under vannmassen, og ved at det første forankringselementets (24) andre ende er tilknyttet oppdriftselementet (50) på et nivå (d) i vannmassen som tilsvarer det nivå i vannmassen der det første forankringselementets (24) første ende er tilknyttet det flytende anlegget (10), hvorved det første forankringselementet (24) løper tilnærmet horisontalt i vannmassen.
