Abstract

En trådløs innmatingsanordning kan forhandle en forhåndsdefinert sende/mottaksplan med en mottakeranordning (dvs. en PC, PDA, mobil anordning). For å spare strøm blir de trådløse komponentene i innmatingsanordningen skrudd av eller satt i hvilemodus under perioder uten dataoverføring. Den trådløse innmatingsanordningen detekterer mellomliggende brukerinnmating og tilhørende data i henhold til en detekteringsrate under perioder uten dataoverføring. Mellomdataene blir sendt til mottakeranordningen under en overføringsperiode sammen med gjeldende data detektert på tidspunktet for overføringen. Den trådløse anordningen kan forkaste eventuelle mellomdata som ikke angir noen betydelig endring. Videre kan systemet og fremgangsmåten omfatte en detekteringsrate som tilpasser seg grader av brukeraktivitet som detekteres av den trådløse innmatingsanordningen.
